Mindfulness is awareness that emerges through paying attention on purpose, in the present moment and allowing the experience to unfold moment by moment.  Mindfulness aids to understand the causes of happiness and causes of stress as we observe what is happening versus trying to control the experience.  Mindfulness can aid with quieting the mind and improving memory, improving performance, increased patience and feeling more balanced in regards to mood and stress.
